Services
Customized energy efficiency projects including solar, batteries, energy efficient windows, heating and air conditioning upgrades, and updating or building new roofs. Our desire at the end of the day is to create as much insulation from the cost of energy in the future as possible. The cost of utilities in California is skyrocketing at the fastest rate in the nation and we help families avoid the sky-high prices of tomorrow.
SOLAR
Solar installation involves the process of setting up solar panels and associated equipment to harness sunlight and convert it into electricity. It typically begins with site assessment and design, where factors such as roof orientation, shading, and energy needs are considered. Next, the installation team mounts the solar panels securely on the roof or ground, ensuring proper alignment for optimal sun exposure. Electrical wiring and connections are then carefully installed to integrate the solar system with the existing electrical infrastructure. Finally, thorough testing and inspection are conducted to ensure the system is functioning efficiently and safely, providing clean, renewable energy for the property.
HVAC
Heating and air conditioning are the biggest draws of electricity for a home. Using a newer, more efficient can oftentimes save several hundred kilowatt hours of draw from the grid even without solar power. There is a significant potential for saving money on a utility bill from switching a newer HVAC unit that is more efficient.
Roofing
An old roof could possibly be leaking significant thermal energy out of the home resulting in an unstable ambient home temperature. If a home has an older roof that is overly porous the temperature inside the house can fluctuate more than it should resulting in unnecessary use of the HVAC unit to keep the home at the desired temperature. A stable roof does more than protect against the elements from getting into the home. It also supports a stable temperature inside the home.
Windows
Aluminum window frames on much older homes absorb the temperature around them and transfer it outside very effectively. The aluminum acts like a sponge to absorb the heat or cold from within the home resulting in the inside of the home becoming more like the temperature that is outside the home. Single pane windows act in the same way with energy transfer occurring in a temperature inside the home that is less stable then requiring the HVAC unit to work harder to hold a desired temperature. Newer, double pane, composite framed windows are very effective at insulating the interior of the home from the fluctuations in temperature outside the home. A stable internal home temperature is the best way to have an energy efficient home resulting in lower utility bills.
Batteries
Batteries are one of the ways to ensure that if the utility grid a residence belongs to goes down the home can still operate some electronic equipment. The higher quality batteries that Creative Energy chooses to provide our customers with also allow a generator to be hooked up to the battery allowing for even more electricity to be produced in the event of an outage. Batteries are a great, premium option for the homeowners who wish to have insurance in the case of a power outage.
